Sponsorship for the happiness of underprivileged children

We want to protect every child's right to be happy.

For the happiness of children, who are the future of society, we ran the CSR program ‘How about here together?’ We worked with NGOs to think about ways to support underprivileged children in need.

‘How about here together?’ was divided into seasons 1 and 2. In Season 1 of 2020, we sponsored various play and physical education programs and teaching aids to child welfare facilities across the country, including Gyeonggi-do, Jeolla-do, and Gangwon-do. With outdoor activities strictly restricted due to COVID-19, the big goal was to relieve children's physical and mental stress. We have planned a program that will help you feel new about your daily life so that you do not get tired of boring indoor life.

“We are O.B.P! (Originally Big People)” The children tried out activities such as yoga, taekwondo, futsal, and table tennis for the first time in their lives, along with energetic cheering slogans made by themselves.

An official from ‘Samhyewon’, a children’s welfare facility that participated in Season 1’s physical education program, explained, “As a result of examining the children’s self-esteem scale before and after the ‘How about here together?’ project, the self-esteem scale of 22 out of 24 children increased by an average of 4 points.”

In Season 2, we presented special memories to children using ‘travel’ as a keyword. We hope that happy travel during childhood will help with emotional growth, and we have created a tour that can provide as much stimulation and inspiration as possible! We have prepared a variety of experiences, including hotel stays, activities, and restaurants that will make you say “Wow!”

The age groups who traveled to each facility ranged from elementary school students to college students. Friend A at Yeonji Group Home said, “After becoming a college student and becoming independent from the group home, I missed the daily life I had with my younger siblings. I was happy to be able to feel the love of my family once again through my trip to Yeosu.” He also made a touching comment saying that when he becomes a member of society in the future, he will become an adult who provides the same opportunities. 😍

Through the CSR program, which lasted for about two years, approximately 430 children experienced unforgettable travel and leisure. After experiencing the coronavirus for a long time, children in particular had to spend a longer and more boring stay at home. They were the youngest customers who engaged in physical activities with friends, visited new travel destinations, and thoroughly enjoyed YEOGIEOTTAE's services.

We plan to continue CSR programs that can help the local community in any way. If we can spread positive energy using YEOGIEOTTAE's main business of travel and leisure, we can do it anytime, anywhere, anything. Coming back soon with a new project!
